#PoorDale trends after inside joke closing notice

An inside joke went viral Friday after a closing notice aired that caught people's attention.
A closing on FOX8 in North Carolina noted that Metal Works of High Point would be closed, but Dale would still be working.
The closing read: Metal Works of High Point Closed Today; Dale to work normal hours
Citizens took note and #poordale started trending on Twitter.

Metal Works said the whole thing was a joke and Dale didn't actually work. Nevertheless, it was quite entertaining for the snowed-in North Carolina residents.
