HAVERHILL, Mass. —

Authorities from multiple agencies said they seized 300 grams of fentanyl laced heroin while arresting a Lawrence man.

On Friday around noon, 22-year-old Christopher Graciano-Fernandez was arrested in the parking lot of the River Street McDonalds in Haverhill.

DEA agents said the heroin seized has a street value of $20,000.

"This was excellent drug interdiction work by our law enforcement partners in the DEA who continue to help us keep this deadly drug out of our city, we are thankful for the DEA’s continued assistance," said Detective Captain Robert Pistone.

Fernandez was charged with trafficking heroin and is being held without bail. He will be arraigned Monday in Haverhill District Court.

DEA Agents from Portland, Maine, Boston, DEA Cross Border Initiative, and Haverhill detectives all participated in the investigation.
