Mark Wahlberg surprises fan suffering from brain damage after infection

It was a dream come true for one of mark Wahlberg’s biggest fans, who got more than a photo op with one of Boston's biggest stars.
The woman and her mother went to the Framingham neighborhood hoping to even catch a glimpse of mark Wahlberg in action filming his new movie “Patriots Day.”
She's 38 now, but at age 6, Jackie Becker got a mosquito bite and contracted eastern equine encephalitis, which caused serious brain damage.
"She can't do the things she used to be able to do. Her fine motor skills are tough. She can't color, she can't play with dolls," Jean Becker, Jackie’s mother, said.
Jean says movies and their stars became a big part of Jackie's world.
When Jean found out Wahlberg was filming his latest movie in their hometown, she was on a mission.
"I said to him we have this beautiful pizza from our local Italian bakery, Framingham Bakery pizza, with these anisette cookies for him. He said that's great can you bring it over to the trailer,” Jean said about her conversation when they visited the set.
They waited several hours, and their perseverance paid off.
"He called us up to the trailer and he was wonderful,” Jean said. "He came right up to Jackie he leaned down to her and he said hi to her.”
The two couldn’t believe how much love the Hollywood star showed.
"He thanked me for the pizza. His arms are rock hard and so was his waist. I'm telling you it was like cement,” Jean said.
But the once in a lifetime meeting didn’t end there.
"He looked to his assistant and he said ‘give them a card, I'd like you to come to the premiere,’" Jean said.
Now Jackie, who falls asleep under posters of her favorite movie stars, may soon walk a red carpet.
"I said to him you have no idea what you just did,” Jean said. "It was the best day of her life, yeah, it was the best.”
"Patriots Day" is expected to hit theaters in December.
