2 shot in Jamaica Plain

Two people were shot in Jamaica Plain Wednesday.
Officers responded to an apartment building at 277 Centre St. for a shooting just before 4 p.m. Police say two people have been shot, one in his 30's and the other in his 40's, and they were taken to the hospital. One was hit in the shoulder and the other in the thigh.
The Boston police commissioner said that where and when this happened is concerning.
“We are gonna be canvassing the area for witnesses. troubling it’s still broad daylight here and a lot of people walking by from the T that’s what’s real alarming for us," he said.
Investigators found multiple bullet casings inside the building.
No other information was immediately released. Police are asking anyone with information to call them.
