Best dental office I have been to. by Evan G. at InsiderPages
I've been a patient of the Tremont Street Gentle Dental for a little over 2 years now, and Dr. Smolyar is by far and above the best dentist I have ever had. I've had acid reflux for 14 years which has wreaked havoc on my teeth, and I've been to 10 different dentists in my life. I've had plenty of experience with root canals, crowns, fillings, with both good and bad and mediocre dentists.

Two years ago I had gotten a job which allowed me to take care of my teeth, and I went to Dr. Smolyar's office at the recommendation of a friend. My teeth were in pretty bad shape, and I doubted that some of them could be saved. However 2 years later 6 root canals later, 8 crowns, and after a bunch of fillings I'm almost to the point where I have a perfect set of teeth. All of the crowns fit perfectly, and have stayed firmly in place. Every root canal was performed perfectly (sometimes pieces of the root can remain. One of my previous dentists had missed a canal... which is a very expensive mistake)

The front office staff are extremely courteous, and the supporting staff are fantastic.

This particular Gentle Dental is easily the best dental office I have ever been in. I cannot recommend them enough for someone who needs major dental work done.

Dr. Easley by Melory J. at InsiderPages
I have been Dr. Easley's patient for a long time since he practiced in New York and have followed him to New England area. I think it is not fair to call your doctors expensive or slimy salesmen just because they are passionate about providing what is the best for the patients' oral health and unwilling to compromise with a quick cheap fix with a lesser result . Also as far as i know, Dr. Easley never practices in California and the reason he didn't renew his Ohio license is because he was training in a hospital in New York at the time. It is fine to dislike a doctor's style or the clinic's ambiance but it is absolutely irresponsible to ruin a health professional's reputation with falsified information.

Gentle Dental by Brandy W. at InsiderPages
I first went to Gentle Dental this past summer after avoiding dental care for quite some time. I was impressed by the office staff and was very pleased with the treatment I received. Dr. Smoyler is very patient and attentive to his patients, making sure that they are comfortable throughout the procedures and also with the follow up appointments. The office staff is relaxed and that puts the patients at ease. I would highly recommend this office and staff, especially for those suffering from a case of dental phobia.

Dr. Smolyar by Natalie P. at InsiderPages
I have been a patient of gentle dental on tremont street since 2005. My grandmother Shelia was referred by a patient of Dr. Smolyar's (Gloria Burke) whom just raved about how great her dentist is. My grandmother need full dentures on upper and lower. From the first time we entered the office we were greeted by a wonderful and very helpful staff. Dr. Smolyar and his asst. are wonderful people, he took his time with my grandmother answered all her questions. To make her story short her dentures came out great, as of today she still says that Dr. Smolyar is one of her best doctors. I myself also became a patient of Dr. Smolyar's and also have referred my mother who received her bridge work (lovely). My unlce who also will be getting bridge work...
Dr. Smolyar is one of the nicest, most understanding and Gentle dentist I have ever meet... The staff is the best in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
