Man Charged with Robbery in Nashua

NASHUA, N.H. (FOX 25 / My Fox Boston) - On January, 13th, 2011 at approximately 11:30 PM, members of the Nashua Police Department Youth Services Division arrested Julio Amaro, age 18 of 23 Hunt St Apt H, Nashua, New Hampshire. Amaro is charged with Robbery class A felony and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery class A felony.

On January 7th, 201,1 at approximately 10:24 PM, Uniform Patrol Officers responded to the lobby of the Nashua Police Department and took the report of a robbery from 2 subjects. Officers were informed that this robbery occurred within a downtown residence. A subsequent investigation by the Youth Services Division revealed that Amaro was one of the subjects responsible for this robbery.

A class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment exclusive of fines. Amaro is being held on $25,000 cash or surety bail pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court on January 14th, 2011.
