LYNN (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A Lynn man who is serving time for the rape of three teenage girls in 1985 was denied parole on Wednesday.

Herman Hall, 49, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated rape, one count of rape, one count of assault with intent to rape, and two counts of armed robbery in May 1986. According to investigators, Hall raped three teens and attempted to rape another in Salem, Swampscott, and Marblehead in the spring of 1985.

Hall claimed he raped and robbed three girls because he was angry with his girlfriend at the time.

The inmate has been eligible for parole in 2001, 2005, and 2010, each time he was denied.
