Scooter rider killed in hit-and-run

ROXBURY (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Police in Roxbury are searching for the driver responsible for a deadly hit-and-run.

This happened around 11:40 p.m. yesterday between Tremont and Terrace streets.

Investigators say a light blue or silver vehicle was speeding past the Roxbury Crossing T station when it hit the victim on a vespa and just kept going.

The 24-year-old man died at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
