MILTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Police have recovered a white Audi they believe could be linked to the murder of an unidentified man found beaten, mutilated and dumped on a quiet residential street in Milton.
Police Chief Richard Wells says the car was found in the Lower Mills section on the Milton/Dorchester line.
The victo, was carrying a note, possibly a hall pass, that appeared to have a person's name scrawled on it. Police said fingerprints taken from the body were entered into a criminal database but no matches were found.
The piece of paper found on his body with the first initial, "D" and a possible last name, "Tisdale."
The chief says the investigation is still very active, and will not confirm if they are questioning anyone in connection with the case. He says between 15 and 20 detectives are on the case.
Police say the victim had no identification on him. Final results are not known on the autopsy but he suffered massive blunt trauma to his body with significant trauma to his head.
Police have described the victim as a young black man with a slight build. He was shirtless and shoeless and had no identification. He was descirbed as 5'7", weighing only 120 pounds.
Police said so far two families have come forward, but a positivie identification has not been made.
