BOSTON (AP) - Police are investigating the stabbing of seven people during a fight at a night club in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood.
Police say a night club worker suffered the most severe injuries when he was stabbed in the leg trying to break a fight at Ups N Downs.
The man, who is in his early 40s, was taken to the Boston Medical Center for treatment after the incident early Saturday.
Some reports indicate that the stabbing severed the victim's femoral artery, a large blood vessel whose puncture could quickly lead to death. The man is expected to recover.
Police say the remaining six people suffered non-severe stab wounds.
No one has been arrested and police say it was not immediately clear what sparked the fight.
