Man busted for 14th OUI

METHUEN (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A Judge says a Methuen man arrested for 14 O-U-I's is dangerous.
50 year old Albert Lanzo was arrested last Thursday and charged with four offenses including operation a vehicle under the influence and driving with a revoked license.
Police say Lanzo was behind the wheel of a truck when he plowed through a mailbox and took off. Methuen police arrived to find Lanzo slumped over his steering wheel a short distance away.
According to the police report Lanzo failed a field sobriety test and was arrested. RMV records show Lanzo has not had a Massachusetts driver's license since 1990--he has outstanding charges in New Hampshire-- has had O-U-I's in Maine, New Hampshire and Boston--and has seven total convictions.
A dangerousness hearing Tuesday determined Lanzo to be a danger to the community. He was order held without bail until his pre trial hearing February 11th.
