(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A local mother who lost all three of her children in four years to cystic fibrosis is asking the public to help her recover stolen items that belonged to her children.
Maureen Palermo, of Medfield, does not want sympathy; however, she does want help finding the items that were stolen from her car while she and her husband dined with friends at the British Beer Company on Route 1 in Walpole.
Palermo returned to the parking lot with her husband and noticed the back window had been smashed.
The thief stole a bag, an iPad, an iTouch, and a cell phone. The bag belonged to Palermo’s daughter, Lisa, who passed away at 15. The iPad belonged to Mark who passed away in December at age 24. Mark blogged about his double lung transplant on that very iPad.
The iTouch belong to Palermo’s second son, Daniel. Daniel was into music and used the iTouch to listen to music while at the hospital.
Palermo does not necessarily care about the actual belongings, but the pictures and the memories that each contain.
Palermo and her husband are working with police and ask the public to return the bag to the police station or the British Beer Company with no questions asked.
The Bristish Beer Company is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the stolen items.
