NASHUA, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A second man charged with murder in a New Hampshire home is arguing to have his trial moved to another county because it will start barely three months after his co-defendant was convicted.

Lawyers for 21-year-old Christopher Gribble of Brookline say it is unprecedented in New Hampshire to have a trial follow so closely on the heels of the sensational trial of co-defendant.
A jury in November convicted 19-year-old Steven Spader of murder and other felonies in the machete attack that killed Kimberly Cates and maimed her 11-year-old daughter, Jaimie.
Gribble's lawyers said Spader's trial was highly publicized and ended in a swift verdict and emotional sentencing.
Gribble is scheduled to go on trial in February.
