BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A former Massachusetts elementary school teacher who also worked at a youth camp in New Hampshire has pleaded guilty to child pornography possession charges.
Federal authorities say 46-year-old Lawrence Follett of Billerica is scheduled to be sentenced March 8. Prosecutors have recommended a sentence of two years and three months in prison followed by 10 years of probation.
Based on tips from Swiss authorities, federal investigators executed a search warrant on Follett's home in 2008 and allegedly found more than 200 images and movies of child pornography on a computer and a thumb drive.
Authorities say Follett was a teacher at a Boxborough elementary school who had also worked as a counselor at a summer camp for boys in Orford, N.H.
Neither Follett nor his attorney could be reached for comment.
