LAWRENCE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Three people armed with a home invasion kit were arrested Saturday night.
Rolando Dominguez-Velez, 22, of Manchester, N.H., Jonathan Walker, 23, of Dorchester, and Jaime Morales Ruiz, 42, of Lawrence, were taken into custody after police received a tip about a man carrying a gun outside Bali's restaurant, the Eagle Tribune reports. The "home invasion kit" included two loaded handguns, three black ski masks and duct tape.
The men have been charged with illegal firearm and ammunition possession, receiving stolen property and drug offenses. Walker was also wanted on a federal warrant for probation violation charges stemming from a prior firearms conviction.
Police told the newspaper they believe the three men were working together, possibly targeting someone who was in Bali's or expected to be going to the restaurant that night.
The men were in possession of illegal single doses of Viagra and Cialas, male enhancement drugs. They were all charged with illegal possession of a Class E drug. Walker and Morales Ruiz are also charged with providing a false name and Social Security number to police when arrested.
All three were held without bail until their arraignments today in Lawrence District Court.
This information was supplied by law enforcement. All persons are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
