Body of woman found in Jamaica Plain identified

JAMAICA PLAIN (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Police have identified the woman found dead on Kenney Street as 49-year-old Brenda Pawlowski of Boston.

Pawlowski's body was found behind a red brick building at 21 Kenney Street in Jamaica Plain on Tuesday morning. She appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound.

No arrests have been made thus far.

The Boston Police Homicide Unit urges anyone with information to contact detectives at 617-343-4470. Individuals wishing to provide information anonymously may do so by calling the CrimeStoppers Hotline at 1-800-494-TIPS or texting 'TIP' to CRIME (27463).
