LYNN (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - An 89-year-old great-grandmother from Lynn was beaten and robbed in front of the home she has lived in for more than 60 years.
Geneva Sozanski was taken to Union Hospital. She has a black eye, stitches in her head and bruises.
Police are still looking for the suspects wanted in Monday afternoon’s attack on Eastern Avenue. It started when a black car pulled up next to Sozanski on the sidewalk and a man jumped out and began yanking at her purse.
Sozanski says she remembered waking up in a pool of blood on the ground and a passerby helping her and calling police.
