BOSTON (FOX 25/MyFoxBoston.com) - Massachusetts gas prices are holding steady.

AAA Southern New England reports today that its weekly survey found self-serve, regular gasoline at an average of $2.71 per gallon, the same as last week.

That's nine cents below the national average, but still 75 cents more than at this time last year.

AAA found a range of 39 cents, with a low of $2.55 per gallon and a high of $2.94.

Oil has drifted in the low $80s for two weeks internationally as investors consider whether slack crude demand from the U.S. and Europe justifies higher prices.
