(Fox 25/MyFoxBoston.com) - North Reading is a town that stands by its own and never has that been more evident than when the Coppola family needed help. When one of the families’ triplets was injured in a football game, community members came out in force to make the family home handicap-accessible, cook meals and leaned their support. The family will never forget.

Brandon, Jared and Tyler Coppola are triplet brothers. Last year, Jared was injured during a Thanksgiving Day football game and was paralyzed from the chest down. Just a year before his injury, Brandon injured the exact same vertebrae but did not suffer as sever injuries.

Brandon and Jared are now unable to play football any more, but their brother Tyler has continued on to have a record-breaking year as a running back.

A fund has been set up for Jared at the Reading Co-Operative Bank to help with some of the injury costs.
