(FOX25/MyFoxBoston.com) - Today is World MS Day, a global movement to end multiple sclerosis, a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system.
MS affects more than 400,000 people nationally. Symptoms can be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. However, new treatments and advances are giving hope to those affected, and so is yoga.
Famed yogi Baron Baptiste and Caroline Kyriakou of Brighton, who was diagnosed with MS in 2006, recently joined the FOX25 Morning News with more.
