B's 4th Annual PJ Drive Begins on Feb. 1
Zdeno Chara to visit BJ's Wholesale Club in Waltham for Pajama Collection on Feb. 4

BOSTON, MA - Beginning Tuesday, February 1, Bruins captain Zdeno Chara, Cradles to Crayons, and BJ's Wholesale Club are teaming up to host the Fourth Annual PJ Drive for Massachusetts' children in need. Throughout the month of February, Bruins' fans, families, schools and corporations are encouraged to donate new, unused pajamas for underprivileged children statewide.

To start the PJ Drive, Bruins captain Zdeno Chara will be visiting the BJ's in Waltham (66 Seyon Street, Waltham, MA 02453) on Friday, February 4 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. for a meet-and-greet with Bruins fans and BJ’s shoppers. Chara will be signing autographs and taking photos with everyone that donates a new, unused pair of pajamas to the PJ Drive.

The following day, Saturday February 5, the Boston Bruins will be hosting their in-game collection during the Bruins/Sharks game at 1 :00 p.m. In addition to helping children in need, fans choosing to participate will receive a raffle ticket for each pair of pajamas donated for the chance to win Boston Bruins team autographed memorabilia.

There are a number of ways to get involved with the 2011 PJ Drive:

School Participation:
This year, schools statewide are invited to participate in the collections. All grade levels K-5 are welcome to sign-up. The class that collects the most pajamas wins an in-school visit to their classroom from Zdeno Chara and the Bruins mascot, Blades. All of the registration information can be found at www.bostonbruins.com .

Youth Hockey Participation:
This year youth hockey teams throughout the state are invited to participate in the collection. The youth hockey team that collects the largest amount of pajamas will win an on-ice youth hockey clinic with the Bruins Youth Hockey Development staff.

BJ’s In-Club Collection:
BJ’s members can purchase and donate new pajamas at any of the 23 BJ's Massachusetts locations. Each club will have collection bins set up for the donations. To find a club, visit bjs.com/locations .

Online Donations:
For members of the community looking to participate but are unable to make it to the Bruins game or BJ's can make a monetary donation online at A gift of $25 provides one child with a pair of fuzzy pajamas, one week's worth of warm clothing, educational toys, bedtime stories, and a comfort blanket.
