(FOX 25/MyFoxBoston.com) - It was an unbelievable show of compassion for a convicted drunk driver.

A judge sentenced Marybeth Frisoli yesterday to six months in jail.

Frisoli was going the wrong way on the Neponset River Bridge and hit Mark Cronin's motorcycle two years ago. The crash cost Cronin his leg.

In court, Cronin walked over to Frisoli, hhugged her and offered his forgiveness.

Cronin says he will do community service alongside Frisoli if that is part of her sentence.
