Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Tonight is Opening Night on a show that's grabbing headlines for both its compelling production and its content, torn from tabloid fodder.

"Tonya and Nancy: The Rock Opera" by Arlington scribe Elizabeth Searle is at the Oberon Theatre in Harvard Square until Feb. 2.

Searle originally debuted her tribute to the knee-capping scandal as a chamber opera at the Zero Arrow Theatre in Cambridge a few years back.

This morning, creator Searle and show producer Paul Boghosian joined FOX25 News to tell the story of two women, whose names are forever intertwined – Tonya and Nancy.
