(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Governor Deval Patrick's new term comes with a new book and there are some people questioning how much time he spent writing and will spend promoting that book.
The governor negotiated his book deal back in 2008 during the middle of his first term. With "A Reason to Believe" coming out this April, a book tour is also on the horizon.
The governor will also do TV and radio appearances to promote his book. The tour will be stopping in Washington, Chicago, New York, and of course, Boston.
In other news, the White House is working to dispel reports that it's sending mixed signals about how to best resolve the crisis in Egypt.Yesterday, the White House and State Department staged a conference call to insist the administration's messages on the standoff have been consistent both in the public and private.
Reports of the so-called disconnect began earlier this week when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden spoke separately about the role of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's right hand man, Omar Suleman.
