(Fox 25/MyFoxBoston.com) - Could a similar situation happen like what is happening in Japan happen here in New England?

Pilgrim Power Station spokesman David Tarantino called in to FOX25 to discuss this topics and more.

Pilgrim power station is located in Plymouth, MA and is owned by Entergy Nuclear Operations .

Plant is of similar design to the damaged site in Japan and provides electricity for about 600,000 homes, or around 8% of the state's total energy demand.
