(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - You may or may not know, but each time you visit a physician, he or she writes notes about your appointment. Those notes go into a file for future reference. However, it's rare that patients ever see the notes that have been taken about them.
Now, researchers at Harvard Medical School have a new initiative for patients to see their doctors notes, but is it a good idea?
Dr. Tom Delbanco from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center recently joined the FOX25 Morning News to talk more about the "open notes" initiative.
