Inspirational art: Smile project

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Imagine walking down the street and spotting a cool painting, you go over to look at it and it says "take this painting, its free."

It's been happening all over the place. It’s the Smile Project: Spreading Hope Through Art.

Artist Bren Bataclan has been doing this for the past seven years. So far, he's given away more than 500 paintings in 32 countries around the world. It all got started here in Boston, and Bren Bataclan is back in town lifting sprits with his artistic talent.
