(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant in Plymouth may have to wait a bit longer for a license renewal after the attorney general asks for a delay.
Martha Coakley says the Plymouth plant has a similar design to the troubled Fukushima plant in Japan and would like a safety review conducted.
Coakley says she concerned about the storage of spent fuel at Pilgrim. A plant spokeswoman says Pilgrim has met all the requirements for re-licensing.
In other news, millions of customers’ personal information was compromised after hackers broke into Sony's Playstation network.
Now, Coakley is asking Sony to provide more information. She wants the company to provide consumers with a clearer notice on the company's homepage.
The AG is also calling for Sony to notify all affected Massachusetts residents through e-mail. Watch Kim's interview with Coakley for more.
