(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Each month, Attorney General Martha Coakley joins the FOX25 Morning News in a segment we call "Ask the AG."

Coakley is pledging to crack down on public corruption and white collar crime -- why now? What is the plan?

The focus comes after the bribery convictions of former state Sen. Dianne Wilkerson and former Boston City Councilor Chuck Turner.

Former House Speaker Salvatore DiMasi is also facing federal corruption charges, following criminal prosecutions against his two predecessors.

And moving on to the parole board, Coakley would like to see a victim's advocate appointed. How would that help?

Watch Gene Lavanchy's interview with Coakley for more more.
