The Higher Ed Technology team is in search of a Senior Web Developer with significant, creative front-end experience. The developer will play a key role developing an e-commerce web application for disseminating educational materials to a global audience. You will be a part of a small team and must be comfortable operating with little or no supervision where your work speaks for itself.

Responsibilities include:

* Produce great looking and highly functional user interfaces using XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
* Integrate front-end UI code with JSF-based middle tier
* Work closely with engineers, QA, product managers, and other stake holders on new features,
extending the existing user experience, and troubleshooting and resolving issues

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years of experience developing web applications.
* Detailed knowledge of JSF, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and cross-platform browser compliance.
* Past experience working with Java, Richfaces, and Seam is strongly preferred
* Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
* Content Management and publishing industry experience preferred
