GENERAL SUMMARY
Leads and drives marketing direction for the Financial Services Practice within EMC Consulting. Senior member of the organization that contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. In addition is called upon as a consultant and key contributor on large projects that affect the organizations long-term goals.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develops and manages a partnership with the Practice to understand, define and nurture the successful go-to-market execution for key offerings.
· Assesses market dynamics and requirements, understand business priorities, and develop recommendations representing Financial Services for campaign and integrated marketing directions.
· Establishes marketing and plans and strategies for assigned area. Gains practice leadership and subject-matter-expert buy-in.
· Develops messaging, marketing and sales tools including sales presentations, case studies, thought leadership white papers, service overviews, marketing program/lead generation pieces (emails, announcements, trade-show signage, etc.).
· Guides press and industry analyst relations strategies for assigned area.
· Position requires ability to interface with all levels of organization including the executive management team as well as external customers, internal customers and organizations, press & industry analysts.
SKILLS
· Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years experience.
· Must have experience developing go-to-market strategies for a consulting company or organization.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Strong business writing skills.
· Understanding of EMC Consulting services and their value added to the customer.
· Good understanding of the consulting services competition.
· Possesses strong consulting services industry knowledge.
· Problem solving skills.
· Ability to work effectively with senior management.
· Excellent project management skills.
· Experience with press and industry analyst strategies and relationships.
