Under the direction of the District Sales Manager, the Field Sales Manager is responsible for attaining the monthly, quarterly, and annual Net Installed and Cash Collected sales projections for the the performance standards of an FSM.
Incumbent is expected to support the same for his/her respective sales office through mentoring and training.
Responsible for providing training, coaching, guidance and expertise in all knowledgeable product categories to the sales project consultants.
Professional development of Project Consultants will occur at the individual and team level with focus on overall office performance improvement.
Methods include one-on-one ride-along development, class room product training, and leading by example in personal performance standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for covering assigned pre-set appointments during scheduled appointment time frames that includes a full in-home presentation to the consumer utilizing the complete ten-step selling plan in order to achieve required performance expectations.
Conduct classroom-based product training to provide technical and selling skill knowledge to new hire project consultants as well as refresher training to existing project consultants.
Assisting the DSM in the attainment of the projected sales goals of the office by building knowledge, skills and capabilities around sit ratios, conversion percentages, 10-step selling process, dollar-per-lead attainment, and close rate, among others.
Bulds competency of computer based selling through the company s Sales Force Autmation software and available on-line support training tools.
Verifying the accuracy of lead disposition designations provided by their Project Consultants and for ensuring the completeness of all supporting documentation, which accompanies an executed sales contract.
Assisting the DSM in conducting daily morning and weekly meetings to generate a motivational atmosphere.
Reinforcing and building capabilities around profitable sales.
Perform field evaluations rides as required.
Responsible for addressing performance deficiencies through coaching and skill development technicques such as ride-alongs, in-home selling observation and feedback, as well as identifying performance deficiencies and address through class room training.
Setting the example for professional performance and technical expertise.
Maintaining contact with customers and respective operations personnel to rectify problems and to proceed with the sale and installation of products on a timely basis.
Preparing reports and/or records requested by the District Sales Manager Assisting the DSM in communicating to dvisiion headquarters all personnel changes within their office within twenty-four (24) hours of the event.
Perform other duties as required.
