Ingenix Clinical Performance and Compliance partners with Medicare Advantage Health Plans by delivering risk adjustment outsourced solutions to support Health Plans' clinical, operational and financial goals. Providing analytical tools coupled with both Provider and Health Plan services, CP&C; is able to positively impact patient assessment, accurate coding and submissions to CMS.
Supporting Clinical Performance and Compliance growth agenda, client manager will work with existing client (s), assist developing new client relationships and support new business proposals. Team member serves as client subject matter expert responsible to client for end to end service delivery. Additionally, client manager responsible for organic growth with existing clients and managing new clients once implemented.
Job Responsibilities
Manages ongoing contract relationships and service delivery to clients for one or more accounts. Acts as outward-facing, dedicated resource for assigned accounts with direct client contact for complex accounts. Builds relationships with clients and serves as the primary point of contact for overall and day-to-day service delivery. Represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement clients/ contracted services, completes projects, and addresses ongoing service needs. Work closely with sales / legal on renewals. Incumbents do not have specific sales goal accountability or primary responsibility to close sales. Primarily focused on relationship and service management.
- From client perspective, owns an end to end service delivery (face to the client)
- Develops functional strategy, plans with appropriate organizational priorities. Sets client expectations.
- Identifies and assists resolving technical, operational and organizational problems
- Expected to spend time on site with client (monthly preferred, quarterly minimum)
- Provide Implementation oversight to ensure contracted services, service levels and reporting delivered.
- Coordinate service delivery with Operations and Technology teams - represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client solutions, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs
- Communicate, strategize and problem solve regarding data and analytics with client, implementation, Technology and Operations teams.
- Manage client specific projects
- Coordinate and present during weekly, monthly, quarterly client meetings. Engage client in strategic dialogue as well as problem solving discussion.
- Interpret and deliver clinical scorecards, operational activity metrics and financial reports to client, synthesizing actions taken based on data interpretation
- Facilitate client strategy sessions in partnership with Provider Market Consultation (team members who specifically work with Provider Groups)
- Responsible for partnering with Provider Market Consultation, Operations and Technology to retain clients.
- Responsible for identifying opportunities for organic growth, coordinating with client, sales and operations.
Qualifications Recommend select team member possess understanding of Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment and Health Plans Medicare Service.
- Client Service, business operations, project management background working with Health Plans recommended to develop key relationships.
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience in Health Plan service operations or client management recommended.
- Negotiation skills; ability to gain acceptance from others to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Ability to Manage and prioritize multiple tasks, promote teamwork and fact based decision making
- Ability to develop and coach a internal cross functional team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from others
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
