FOX25, myfoxboston - The rock band Styx sang about it in the late 1970s, saying it’s their last time in the unemployment line, they would rather be a blue collar man.

Maybe its time for a lot of us to pick up on that theme and go back to this country's blue collar roots.

Joe Lamacchia, author of "Blue Collar and Proud of It," certainly feels that way. His book shows you how it’s OK to pursue your blue collar passion. The all-in-one resource for finding freedom, financial success and security outside the cubicle, was written by Lamacchia, a landscaper from Newton. His main point is you don't need to go to college to be a big success and lead a fulfilling life.
