Joe Jackson: Omer is
Michael's Child

(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Joe Jackson, Michael Jackson's father, has said in a new interview that he knew his son had another child. When Joe Jackson was asked about rumors involving the pop star and a person named Omer he stated that "I knew he had another son."

In an interview with NewsOne/TVOne the Jackson patriarch acknowledges that Michael had another son. The interviewer asked Joe Jackson about the rumors of Michael having another child, referring to someone named Omer.

"Yes, I knew he had another son. Yes I did," answered Jackson when asked about Michael Jackson and Omer. "He looks like a Jackson. He acts like a Jackson. He can dance like a Jackson. This boy is a fantastic dancer."

When asked about the possibility of Omer being the future of the family, Joe Jackson responded slyly, "I don't know. I can't say that yet until I see it happen."

At least one celebrity Web site quickly dismissed the interview and questioned Joe Jackson's motives.

Rumors about Omer Bhatti began to circulate after he was seated in the front row for the late singer's tribute at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on July 7. Bhatti and Michael Jackson had a relationship dating back to 1996 when Bhatti met Michael Jackson and impressed him with his dancing and impressions. Bhatti also stayed at the Neverland Ranch at times in recent years.
