LOS ANGELES (NewsCore) - Superstitious Hollywood hell-raiser Colin Farrell is offering a staggering $25,563 reward for the safe return of his lucky belt, The Sun reported Friday.
The treasured accessory was a gift from his father, but it went missing a few weeks ago after apparently being stolen.
Irishman Farrell, 35, was thought to have spent thousands repairing it over the years.
He now is considering making a Wild West-style wanted poster to get it back. "Colin has had this lucky leather belt for so long he just can't bear to get rid of it. The thing is literally coming apart at the seams," a source said. "The belt has undergone numerous alterations, like having extra holes punched in it and extra leather added since he has gone through so many weight changes."
Farrell previously showed his superstitious side in 2004 when he claimed that he wore the same boxer shorts -- given to him by his brother -- whenever he started on a movie.
He said they were "covered with shamrocks, and the waistband says 'The luck of the Irish.'"
