BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Sears is considering moving its headquarters to the Hub.
According to the Boston Redevelopment Authority, the Chicago-based retailer is leaving the Windy City and has narrowed the choice down to Boston or Washington, D.C.
In a letter to the company's CEO, Mayor Tom Menino said he was "thrilled" they were considering Boston and mentioned the city's thriving cultural and business communities as reasons to choose the Hub.
