Sara Underwood joined FOX25 News as weekend anchor in September, 2008. She anchors "FOX25 News at 10:00 and 11:00" on Saturday and Sunday." During the week, Sara is a general assignment reporter.

As one of the area’s most familiar and trusted news anchors, Underwood has led coverage in Boston since 2000. Before coming to FOX25, Underwood was a principal anchor at another Boston station. She was at the helm for breaking news coverage, led special event coverage and has interviewed numerous high-profile newsmakers. Before coming to Boston she was a reporter at WTTG, the FOX affiliate in Washington, D.C.

Earlier in her career Underwood served as an anchor and reporter at WDTN, the ABC affiliate in Dayton, OH. She started her career at KIEM-TV in Eureka, CA. Underwood grew up in California and is a graduate of UCLA.
